    Sports Relief
Tomorrow is Sports Relief and we will be hosting a Sporting Heroes costume competition amongst other activities going on during the day. We invite your children to dress in sporting clothes or as a sporting person they admire. Donations for this can be either a suggested donation of £1 or an item for the Redbridge Food Bank (we are aware they are in special need at this current time). Please make all donations via the children's classrooms. We are looking forward to a great day. Thank you for your continued support

Book Week at Snaresbrook Primary School
Snaresbrook Primary will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 5th March. As part of the celebrations, we will be holding a World Book Day Parade so that children (and staff) have the opportunity to 'walk the catwalk' in their costumes. I look forward to seeing all the fantastic costumes. As Part of World Book Day ‚Äč KS1 and KS2 children will also get the opportunity to attend a 'book talk at Forest School. In preparation for World Book Day, the children will also get the opportunity to meet and work with a real life author, as Barrie Wade will be visiting the school on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd March. Each class will attend a special workshop, run by Barrie, which will explore reading, story writing and poetry. On Wednesday we also have a special assembly with some surprise guests. Finally, Please remember the book fair is now in school and will be open every day after school until Thursday 5th March. Kind regards, Mrs Carpenter English Lead KS1 Phase Leader
