Thank you for your interest in Snaresbrook Primary Nursery. Below are some frequently asked questions to give you more information about our setting. If you have any further enquiries or would like to arrange a visit please contact the school office either by email or phone

  • How big is the Nursery?

    The Nursery has places for thirty six children in the morning and thirty six in the afternoon.

  • When can my child start Nursery?

    Your child must be three before they start.

    Your child can start at any point in the year as long as they are three and we have a space available.

  • How much does it cost to send my child to Nursery?

    The cost of your child's Nursery education is covered by the three year old funding for the first fifteen hours then after that you may be eligible for a further fifteen hours free under the new 30 hours funding. 

  • What times are the Nursery sessions?

    The Nursery hours are;

    AM session: 8:45AM - 11:45AM

    PM session: 12:30PM - 3:30PM

  • Can my child attend all day?

    There are five different options for you to choose from when considering a Nursery Place at Snaresbrook Primary School

    Option A: Five three hour sessions 8:45-11:45 (15 hours of free Nursery education)

    Option B: Five three hour sessions 12:30-3:30 (15 hours of free Nursery education)

    Option C: Monday 08:45- 3:30 Tuesday 08:45-3:30 and Wednesday 08:45-11:45 (16 ½ hours of free Nursery education or 15 hours free and 1 ½ hours paid)
    Option D: Wednesday 12:30-3:30, Thursday 08:45-3:30 and Friday 08:45-3:30 (16 ½  hours of free Nursery education or 15 hours free and 1 ½ hours paid)

    Option E: Monday – Friday 08:45-3:30 (30 hours of free Nursery Education)

    Option F: Option A,B,C or D with additional top up hours

     

  • How many member of staff does the Nursery have?

    There are four members of staff;

    • Miss Talbott - EYFS specialist teacher and Nursery Instruction Lead
    • Miss Sheppard - NNEB
    • Mrs Walker - NNEB
    • One additional  adult
  • When can I apply for a Nursery place?

    You do not have to wait until your child is three to apply for a Nursery place, you can put their name on the waiting list at any time. For more information on applying for a place see the Nursery Places tab at the top of the page.
