Reception is a very exciting year. The start of the year is spent helping your child to settle into their new class, understand the school routines and build strong relationships with their teachers and peers.

In Reception, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and help your child to achieve their very best and meet the Early Learning Goals set out for them. We do this by presenting them with a range of memorable learning opportunities that they can access both in the inside and outside environments. Much of their learning is play based and builds on their own experiences; thus helping them to remember more and progress.
